How to make a French drain

First, dig a hole about three feet deep by about two feet wide. Go to a hardware store and by about three feet of 18 inch sewer pipe. Put the pipe in the hole, which you have dug about three feet from the edge of your foundation. The top of the pipe should be about one foot from the surface of the lawn or dirt. Next. Fill the pipe and hole with gravel.
