The State License board requires that all forms of advertisements and written estimates have a valid contract license number. Given the relative ease of obtaining a contractors license it amazes me how many " companies " out there doing gutter work have no license at all. I know of one company who gives a five digit business license number. Please ask and verify if the contractor you are considering is a licensed, insured company.

Those guys hurt honest contractors and home-owners alike!
